Q: malmo, why is the album so short?
A: because i no longer have the time or patience to put crappy songs around a small handful of songs that i actually like. so expect short albums from now on.
Q: why don't you release a physical CD like a real band?
A: sure. why don't you pay me then, fuck face?
Q: when can i hear you play? i want to see malmo live!
A: malmo just came back from an extended tour. you totally missed it so now everyone is gonna think you're a loser. LOSER!

i have redone the website. i think it looks ... different. i will be adding things to it over the next few days (i.e. i will get bored in a few days, having done nothing, and will resume in a few months). i have posted a special disclaimer in the "about" section of the site in regards to this new look.

apologies. the new album is not ready yet. but is it really that big a deal? i mean "real" bands typically take more than a year between albums. and they don't even have jobs. so i'm taking back my apology. eat it.

three items on today's agenda:
1) i just discovered the magic of the deEsser. so the good news is, the new album (including the single that i just posted, which will be re-mixed and edited slightly) will have some smoother sounding vocals. the bad news is, i can't listen to any of the old stuff anymore.
2) speaking of the new single ... people seem to like it. i guess that's a good thing. no idea when the rest of the album will be finished, though.
3) i've been keeping all these posts here and just making the page bigger. should i start deleting the older ones? keeping them somehow? hmmm so many problems. maybe someone else should build this website for me and make it better.

it's a c-c-c-old day out here in pakkleland! i have recently returned from a nice trip to california, where i went shoop shoop shoop on my snowboard with my favorite bug and glug glug glug in napa with her and her crazy sister. in other news, the new album is coming along nicely and should be out later this year. perhaps in the summer. earlier if i get inspired. the title will be "i prefer hello" and here is the cover:
